Prabhat Kumar/Vaishali: Many efforts are being made in Bihar to make women self-reliant. For this, work is being done ranging from free training related to all types of employment to providing necessary equipment and grants. An initiative has also been taken by RUDSET Training Center in the direction of making women self-reliant. This training program has emerged as an excellent opportunity for skill development for women coming from economically weak and rural backgrounds. In this 30-day course being run at the centre, apart from tailoring, the nuances of fabric cutting, designing, measurement, finishing, machine maintenance and small enterprise operation are also being taught.
The coordinator of the program said that the objective of Rudset is not only to provide technical training but also to motivate women for self-employment. Under this, in the last phase of training, participants are also given information about business planning, cost management, market demand and techniques of connecting with customers. With this, women will be able to start their own business after completing the training.
