Raipur News: Chhattisgarh government has made important changes at the administrative level and has made a major reshuffle in the charge of 13 IAS officers. Under the order issued by the General Administration Department, these transfers have been made with the aim of further strengthening the functioning of various departments of the state. This reshuffle will infuse new energy into key areas like education, health, revenue, women and child development.
Shikha Rajput Secretary of State Election Commission
According to the order, Shikha Rajput has been appointed Secretary of the State Election Commission. They will play an important role in strengthening the democratic processes. In this sequence, Priyanka Shukla has been made the Commissioner of Holistic Education and Managing Director of Text Book Corporation. His appointment in the education sector is expected to improve the school education and book distribution system.
He has the additional charge of Chhattisgarh Beverage Corporation.
Kiran Kaushal was given the responsibility of Secretary in the Ministry, while Padam Singh Elma was given the additional charge of Chhattisgarh Beverage Corporation along with Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Knowledge and Skill Development Mission (CSKML). To strengthen health services, Sanjeev Jha was made Director Health Services and Managing Director of National Rural Health Mission. Jitendra Shukla was given the additional charge of Managing Director of Markfed and Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission.
Ritesh Aggarwal given additional charge of Commissioner
Ritesh Aggarwal got the additional charge of Commissioner in the field of medical facilities. Iffat Ara was made the Special Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department and the Managing Director of Civil Supplies Corporation, which will make disaster management and food grain distribution effective. Santan Devi Jangade was given the additional charge of Director of AYUSH Department. Sukhnath Ahirwar was appointed Joint Secretary in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
Dr. Renuka Srivastava Deputy Secretary
At the same time, Dr. Renuka Srivastava was given the additional charge of Deputy Secretary, Women and Child Development Department as well as Director, which will give a new direction to the welfare programs of women and children. These transfers are in line with the ‘innovation’ policy of the state government. A senior official of the General Administration Department said, these changes are to increase the productivity of the departments and to quickly resolve the challenges.
