Railway Non Vage Food: Is Halal meat served in Indian Railways trains? Railways itself has now responded to this. Railways has said that meat is served in all trains as per FSSAI standards.
New Delhi. Recently, many questions were raised on social media regarding non-veg food served in Railways. Now Indian Railways itself has responded to this. Questions were raised on social media (July 2023) over Halal meat in non-veg meals in Indian Railways. Even at that time, it was clearly stated that IRCTC serves only that non-veg food (chicken) which meets the standards as per the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and the changes made from time to time.
