Lucky Singh and Sanjana Yadav of Bhojpur district have been selected for the National School Weightlifting Competition in Arunachal Pradesh. Due to this there is an atmosphere of pride and enthusiasm in the district. Both of them have been selected for the national team due to their better performance in the state level competition.
Bhojpur. Two talented students of Bhojpur district, Lucky Singh of Triguna Singh High School, Matukpur and Sanjana Yadav of Notre Dame High School, Arrah, were selected for the National School Weightlifting Competition (Arunachal Pradesh). On the basis of their hard work, discipline and continuous practice, both the girls have succeeded in making a place in the Bihar team by performing excellently in the state level school competition. Bihar team will participate in this important national competition to be held in Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh) from 26 to 30 November. The selection of both the players has created an atmosphere of excitement in their families, schools and the sports world of the district.

District Sports Officer, Sports Association officials, teachers and coaches of various schools have wished for a bright future for both the players. Lucky Singh is the daughter of Santosh Singh, resident of Neknam Tola and Sanjana Yadav is the daughter of Bihari Yadav, resident of Ahirpurawan. Lucky and Sanjana will showcase their talent in Arunachal Pradesh. Mukesh Kumar, instructor cum secretary of Bhojpur District Weightlifting Association, said that both the girl students have been selected on the basis of their excellent performance in the state level school weightlifting competition organized in Jehanabad. He said that both the players had been training hard for the last several months. This selection is the result of his hard work.
On being selected in the Bihar team, District Sports Officer Alok Gautam, Association President and sports loving social worker Dr. Vijay Gupta, social worker Ajay Singh, Athletics Secretary Jaswant Singh, Notre Dame High School Director Ajit Kumar Singh, Sports Teacher Narayan Shukla, Triguna Singh High School Principal Satish Pathak, Shailesh Ji, Dilip Ji, Rajeev, Jaishankar Gupta, trainers Santosh Kumar, Anjali Kumari, Ayush Raj, Abhay Pandey and others.
