Makhana Matar Sabji Recipe: If you want to serve something special to the guests, then make Makhana-Matar Sabji. It is very easy to make and does not require much material. However, it turns out to be so amazing that the eater cannot forget the taste quickly.
To make makhana pea curry, first of all take makhana, take two handfuls of makhana and fry it well in a pan with one spoon of ghee. When it is fried, take it in your hand and see whether it is completely kneaded with your hands or not. If this happens then consider that the makhana has been fried.
After this you have to prepare the masala, fry all the spices like round chilli, bay leaf, cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon properly in a pan and then add chopped tomatoes, onion and a handful of cashew nuts. After frying all these, take them down and cool them.
When it cools down, grind it once again in the mixer and make a paste. Take out big spices like bay leaf, big cardamom, cinnamon stick etc. before grinding them. Once again put the pan on the gas. Add two spoons of oil and add cumin, bay leaves and then add two finely chopped onions and fry lightly and then add the paste you have ground.

After this, you have to add one spoon Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, vegetable masala powder and salt as per taste and fry it well. When it gets fried then you have to add peas in it. Peas get fried in just 10 minutes. When the peas are cooked then you have to add little water to it.
The water should start boiling lightly, after that you have to add makhana. After 5 minutes of adding makhana, when it boils, you have to add cream in it. You can also use homemade cream. Add cream, mix and take it down after 5 minutes.
Take it, your hot makhana pea curry is ready. Believe me, once you eat, you will forget the restaurant. It is prepared exactly like a wedding party and the food also tastes exactly the same.
Just keep one thing in mind that you should not add the makhana too soon, that is, when everything is completely ready, the peas are cooked, your gravy is cooked, the water comes to a boil, only then you have to add the makhana, otherwise the makhana will melt completely.
