In Himachal, snow above, fog below and people shivering in the middle, Kukumsairi mercury reached near minus 4, yellow alert of fog in the plains.

Himachal Pradesh Weather Forecast: Now dry cold has started increasing in Himachal Pradesh. In such a situation, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in the morning and evening in many plain areas of the state. Amidst the increasing cold, the minimum temperature has reached minus in Tabo and Kukumseri of Lahaul-Spiti. At the same time, in the plain areas also the cold has started increasing due to fog. Not only this, due to dense fog, traffic and life in low lying areas is also being affected.

What alert is issued regarding weather?
According to Sandeep Sharma, scientist of Meteorological Center, Shimla, the weather will remain clear in most areas of the state till December 2. Yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in the plains – Bilaspur, Mandi and Sundernagar till November 28 – late night and morning. At present there is no possibility of rain and snowfall. There is no possibility of any major change in temperature during this period. In the coming days, the minimum temperature will be around normal, while the maximum temperature may increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Water froze due to minus temperature
Let us tell you, in some areas of the state the mercury has reached below zero (minus). Due to falling mercury, even drinking water has frozen in these areas. Not only this, the drains and waterfalls have turned into a layer of ice. Due to freezing of water, local people are facing a lot of difficulties in drinking water and in everyday use of water.
