Challenge for newly married women
The biggest problem in filling the SIR form is faced by newly married women. Because the information has to be filled in the form on the basis of the voter list of 2003, women who have recently been married have to fill the form by searching the data from the village list of their parents. Voter Ravi Kumar Pandey says that the same procedure was adopted in his wife’s form also and Kalindi Pandey explained it in a very simple way.
Form filling process: It is important to understand the difference between two columns
Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, resident of Raghunathpur Jamuva, says that many people were not able to understand in which column the information has to be filled. He told that if your name is in the list of 2003, then you have to fill the right column. If the name is not there, then information from the 2003 list of parents will have to be filled in the left column. Kalindi Pandey sits in every house and explains these details, which makes it easier for the villagers to fill the form.
Kalindi is gaining both the trust and praise of voters.
The people of the village say that without the hard work and patience of BLO Kalindi, it would have been very difficult to fill this form correctly.
They work continuously till 5 pm and are reaching out to every voter and simplifying the process of adding names to the voting list.
