Railways has decided to cancel many essential trains on 25, 26 and 27 November 2025 due to technical repairs, track maintenance and running problems. This route is a busy route connecting Jharkhand and Odisha, hence the maximum impact will be on the passengers of Ranchi-Tatanagar-Rourkela route. Thousands of people travel through this route every day, hence Railways has appealed to the passengers to check the updates before travelling.
Tatanagar–Rourkela Passenger Canceled (Train No. 68065)
Passenger train 68065 running between Tatanagar and Rourkela has been completely canceled on 25, 26 and 27 November. This train is considered an essential link for local passengers, but due to track work, its running will remain closed.
Rourkela-Tatanagar passenger (train number 68066) also closed
68066 Rourkela – Tatanagar Passenger running in the opposite direction has also been canceled on these three days. Due to closure of passenger services in both directions, passengers traveling to and from Tatanagar will have to face problems.
Running of Tatanagar-MEMU Passenger (58659) affected
Tatanagar – MEMU Passenger 58659, which is very useful for small stations around Tatanagar, will remain canceled from 25th to 27th November. This train is especially the first choice of labourers, students and daily commuters, hence its cancellation can cause major problems.
The running of Rourkela-Ranchi Passenger 58660 will be affected on 25th and 26th November. This train is an important option from Ranchi to Rourkela, but it has been stopped due to technical problems.
Other important MEMU and passenger trains also canceled
The canceled trains also include 68035 Rourkela-Tatanagar Passenger and 68036 Tatanagar-Rourkela MEMU Passenger, whose running has been completely stopped on 25, 26 and 27 November. The closure of these trains directly impacts the small stations around Tatanagar.
