Keep these things in mind while using the rod-
1.Use only ISI certified rods-
The wiring and coils of cheap rods are weak. This increases the risk of short circuit or sparking. Therefore always buy ISI certified rods only. It works safely for a long time and reduces the risks of electrical accidents.
2. Turn on the rod only after putting it in water.
Starting the rod in an empty bucket can be dangerous. Without water the coil can heat up rapidly and burst. Therefore always first put the rod in water and then switch on. This is one of the most important safety rules.
3. After closing the rod, immediately remove it from the water.
There is a risk of electric shock even after switching off. Take out the rod from the bucket and wait for 1–2 minutes, then use water. Failure to do so may result in shock to the hand or body.
4. Choose the right bucket-
Do not keep the rod in a thin or damaged plastic bucket for a long time. It may melt or increase the risk of electric shock in water. It is better to use thick plastic or steel bucket.
5. Maintain distance from immersion rod-
Do not sit near the rod while using water. Sometimes a slight current may occur in the bucket. Always switch off or remove the rod before using water.
