Fried food, sweet drinks, excess salt and processed foods increase them rapidly. By improving these habits on time, the heart can be recovered from the ‘silent killer’.
Nowadays, heart related diseases are increasing rapidly and one of the major reasons for this is the increase in bad cholesterol. When bad cholesterol increases in the body, it starts accumulating in the veins, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. Many times we unknowingly make such mistakes which increase bad cholesterol.
Samosa, pakoras, burgers, French fries and packet snacks contain trans fat and saturated fat which increases bad cholesterol rapidly. Fried food should be reduced and only light and nutritious home-made food should be eaten.
Sitting all day long and not exercising is also a major reason for increase in cholesterol. If the body is not active, fat will accumulate, in such a situation it is necessary to walk for at least 30 minutes every day, do yoga or do some light exercise.
