According to the information, young basketball player Hardik was exercising by hanging on a pole in the basketball ground. During this, the basketball pole broke and fell on the young man’s chest. When other players practicing in the field saw this, they immediately ran and picked him up. But due to excess weight in the pole, he died on the spot.

This entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. Player Hardik is looking very active during practice on the ground and is jumping a lot. He is hanging from the basketball pole to warm up. The first time he hangs on the pole, the pole does not break. When he hung on the pole for the second time, the pole fell completely on the player. As soon as the information was received, Lakhan Majra police reached the spot. The police conducted post-mortem and handed over the body to the family members.
Villagers told that Hardik was an excellent basketball player. He had been selected in the Indian team. Had returned from the Indian team camp. Now he was busy preparing for the games. He has a younger brother, who is also a good basketball player.

The father left his two sons to play
Hardik’s father Sandeep Rathi had also left his two sons with the coach here for basketball practice. The father was hopeful that his elder son would soon win a medal for the country. However, destiny had other plans. Other players also practice daily by hanging from the basketball pole. Many other players were also hanging on the pole on Tuesday morning. But this accident happened with Hardik. Lakhan Majra police station SHO Samarjit Singh said that a young man died after a pole fell while practicing basketball. As soon as the information was received, they reached the spot and took the body into custody. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to the relatives.
