Stock Market Today: The third trading session of the week in the Indian stock market on Wednesday, November 26 had a bad start to the trading day. However, the market immediately started trading in the green. Benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 opened trading in the red.
The 30-share BSE Sensex index opened at 84,503.44 points, down 83.57 points or 0.10 percent, while the NSE Nifty 50 opened at 25,842.95, down 41.85 points or 0.16 percent.
By around 9:25 am, the Sensex was trading 250 points higher at 84,837 points, while the Nifty 50 was trading 83 points higher at 25,968.

How was the market on Tuesday?
On Tuesday, November 25, there was a huge decline in the Indian stock market and both the major benchmark indices closed trading in the red. Sensex fell by 313.70 points or 0.37 percent to 84,587.01 points, while NSE Nifty 50 recorded a fall of 74.70 points or 0.29 percent and ended the trading day at the level of 25,884.80.
SBIN, Tata Steel, Eternal and Bharti Airtel were the top gainers from the BSE basket. Talking about the top losers, Trent, PowerGrid, HDFC Bank and HCL were taking place. Nifty Bank, Nifty IT, Nifty 100, Nifty Auto, Nifty FMCG closed trading in the red.
At the same time, there was a rise in the shares of Nifty Smallcap 100 and Midcap 100. On Tuesday’s trading day, 7 shares from BSE basket closed in the green and 23 shares recorded a decline.
