West Bengal SIR: Suvendu Adhikari accused Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress of infiltration, fake voters and police bias. He talked about the end of the government in Bengal if SIR is successful. Suvendu Adhikari said that the police led by Mamata Banerjee has destroyed the last vestiges of democracy in the state.
Kolkata. There is no end to the politics on SIR in West Bengal. Once again, opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari targeted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said that Trinamool Congress has brought infiltration in the state. Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari said in a press conference on Tuesday that Trinamool is not a party, it is an organization based on vote bank which stands on illegal voters who are ‘supporting Jihad’.
He claimed that since the launch of SIR, the issue of fake ration cards and illegal voters has come to the fore in West Bengal. Infiltrators are snatching the ration of real people, this is ‘Food Jihad’. If the SIR is successful, the Trinamool government may end.
Suvendu Adhikari said, “Yesterday, many popular TV channels in Bengal tried to find the BLO, but they could not find the BLO. This is not a BLO. This is a TMC cadre whose film Moidul is coming. He is the convener of the TMC Primary Teachers Association.”
He said that you see, the Police Welfare Association, the government organization of West Bengal Police, held a conference of lady police. There is a tourist spot in Digha. Police Welfare Association is not a political organization or NGO. It is a recognized, registered, funded, affiliated organization of the Government of West Bengal. This is an organization run by the police.
Suvendu Adhikari said that I have sent a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer, demanding the removal of biased policemen from election duty. Saying that people in uniform are saying that Mamata Banerjee should become the Chief Minister again in West Bengal. Such political statements cannot be made. The police led by Mamata Banerjee has also destroyed the last vestiges of democracy in the state.
He alleged that at that event, a police inspector named Bijitsav Raut, who is also the convener of the West Bengal Police Welfare Committee, made a personal attack on the chair of the leader of the opposition.
