Pakistan is preparing for which game on LoC, Army on high alert after intelligence report

Army soldiers have once again been put on high alert on the India-Pakistan border. In fact, such intelligence has been received that the Pakistani Army is planning some provocative action on the border with India to divert public attention from the ongoing rebellion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to sources, based on this highly reliable intelligence input, the highest level alert has been issued to the Indian Armed Forces. In view of this, the deployment of troops on the border has been increased.

This alert has come at a time when the fire of rebellion is intensifying in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the north-western province of Pakistan. The local Pashtun community, which has been a victim of the alleged oppressive actions of the Pakistani Army for a long time, has now come out in open rebellion. In recent weeks, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other militant groups have carried out several attacks against the military.

ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) of Pakistan Army has termed them as ‘Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khariz’, but the local people are calling it the result of atrocities on Pashtuns by the Punjabi-dominated army. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bordering Afghanistan, has long been a bastion of insurgency and the Pakistani Army is surrounded by this internal insurgency. In such a situation, it is feared that to divert attention from the domestic situation, Pakistan may take provocative action on the Line of Control (LoC) or the international border.

After these credible intelligence reports, orders have been issued to the Indian Army to be immediately on alert. Surveillance has been increased at all forward positions and security has been beefed up in the border areas. Military sources say that the Indian Armed Forces are fully prepared to deal with any situation and any action of the enemy will be given a befitting reply.

At present, no official statement has been issued by the Army on this, but defense experts believe that the strategy of increasing tension on the border amidst political instability and huge public dissatisfaction in Pakistan is not new. India’s commitment to maintain peace on the border has been reiterated, but it has also been made clear that there will be no laxity regarding security.

Sources say that the Indian Army is keeping an eye on every activity across the border and coordination between the army, intelligence agencies and air defense network has been further strengthened. Security agencies are constantly monitoring the situation and are ready to take immediate action in case of any potential threat.
