Stock Market Today: The second trading session of the week in the Indian stock market on Tuesday, November 25, started the trading day flat. However, immediately the stock market slipped and the benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 started trading in the red.
The 30-share BSE Sensex index opened at 85,008.93 with a rise of 108.22 points or 0.13 per cent, while the NSE Nifty 50 opened at 25,998.50 with a rise of 39 points or 0.15 per cent.
As of 9:24 am, the Sensex was trading at 84,848 points, down by 51 points, while the Nifty 50 was trading at 25,949, down 10 points.

How was the market on Monday?
On Monday, November 24, there was a huge decline in the Indian stock market and both the major benchmark indices closed trading in the red. Sensex fell by 331.21 points or 0.39 percent to 84,900.71 points, while NSE Nifty 50 slipped by 108.65 points or 0.42 percent and ended the trading day at 25,959.50.
Tech Mahindra, Adani Port, HCL Tech, Sun Pharma and Asian Paint were the top gainers from the BSE basket. Talking about the top losers, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, Trent, Bajaj Finserv were. Nifty Bank, Nifty Midcap 100, Nifty 100, Nifty Auto, Nifty Smallcap 100, Nifty MMCG closed trading in the red.
At the same time, a rise was recorded in Nifty IT shares. On Monday’s trading day, only 8 shares from the BSE basket closed in the green and 22 shares recorded a decline.
