Nawada News: A shocking incident came to light in Nawada. Here an ancient statue was found during excavation with JCB machine. After which people started worshiping.
Nawada Surprising news came out from Nawada district of Bihar. Here sand was being taken out with JCB machine in Sakri river. Suddenly a statue was found under the ground. Seeing the idol of God, a crowd of believers gathered. Within some time people started worshiping the idol. Also informed the police about the incident.
There was a stir in Govindpur block when suddenly an ancient statue of Lord Vishnu was recovered while lifting sand from Sakri river. During the regular digging work going on with JCB, as soon as the shape of a stone appeared in the bucket of the machine, the workers and villagers present there were shocked. As soon as the statue was taken out, people recognized it as the statue of Lord Vishnu and within no time a crowd gathered at the spot. People stood with folded hands, many people started worshiping right there.

The news of the recovery of the statue spread like wildfire in the village and surrounding areas. Within a short time a large number of villagers reached the river bank. The villagers, filled with devotion, decorated the statue with flowers and garlands and respectfully took it to the Bajrangbali temple located in Sarai Tola of Govindpur. There the villagers started performing rituals and considered it an auspicious sign. Many people said that it is surprising for such a beautiful and artistic statue to be found in the river sand and its appearance seems like a divine sign.
Archeology Department will investigate
During this time, the information about the recovery of the statue also reached Govindpur Police. The police team immediately reached the temple and took possession of the statue. Police say that the statue appears to be very ancient, hence archaeological and legal investigation is mandatory. Officials said that under the government procedure, such statues are kept safe and tested by the Archeology Department, hence the statue has been brought to the police station temporarily.
