Bilaspur. Dreams are fulfilled only when there is determination to fulfill them. This passion has been proved true by Shatakshi Pandey, daughter of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, who has secured the sixth position in the state and first position in the women’s category in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC Result 2024) examination. As soon as the results came, a wave of happiness ran in his house. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the family, relatives and city residents. This achievement of Shatakshi has made both Bilaspur and the state proud. The special thing is that she not only made it to the top 10 but also got first place in the women’s category.
Talking to Local 18, Shatakshi Pandey said that this journey was not easy. Even after failing many times, he did not give up and prepared himself better. He said, ‘Every failure gave me courage to move forward and taught me where to improve. I continued my preparation along with job and MTech studies. During the time of Covid, online coaching and digital content proved effective in preparation. Digital platform in the right direction is a great strength of education.

During preparation, Shatakshi followed a strict routine. Start studying with ORS in the morning, have healthy snacks in between and study with extra time on exam days. This was all part of his strategy. Mental and physical fitness is very important in competitive exams.
Shatakshi’s father Ashutosh Pandey said, ‘We never stopped her from taking any decision. Whatever she wanted to become, we supported her. Mother Rekha Pandey said, ‘Always kept an eye on his diet, daily routine and stress. Whatever she wanted, we were with her. Aunt Ragini Mishra said that Shatakshi has always been talented. During her studies, she studied in Europe and won a gold medal and also won the title of ‘Miss Yogas’. She has come sixth but she deserved first place.
Shatakshi tells that her younger brother always used to say that when didi becomes an officer, the first thing she should do is gift me a mobile. As soon as the results came, brother was the first to congratulate her by hugging her. This achievement of Shatakshi Pandey shows that any challenge can be overcome with hard work, patience, continuous practice and right preparation strategy. Her success has become a source of inspiration not only for the daughters of Bilaspur but also the state.
