Samastipur News: With the aim of strengthening the infrastructure of Tajpur Municipal Council area, tender has been issued for five important road and drain construction schemes. The total estimated cost of all these schemes is said to be around ₹ 1.05 crore.

Tajpur Municipal Council, Samastipur has issued tender for five important road and drain construction schemes with the aim of strengthening the infrastructure of the area. The total estimated cost of all these schemes is said to be around ₹ 1.05 crore.
This initiative has been taken by the Municipal Council to solve the long standing road and drainage problems in various wards of the city. Interested contractors can apply for these schemes separately or for any one scheme as per their capacity. So that small and medium scale contractors can also get opportunities.
In which wards the construction work will be done, know the details of the complete plan
According to the tender notice released, PCC road construction work will be done from Aggarwal Chowk to St. Mary’s School in Ward No. 7 of Municipal Council Tajpur, the cost of which has been fixed at ₹ 22,62,050. Whereas in Ward No. 14, a tender worth Rs 24,52,694 has been issued for the construction work of RCC drain in the road leading from Kali Mandir to Jamwari River. Apart from this, a scheme of ₹ 14,33,384 is included for the construction of RCC drain from Mohammad Safiq’s house to Lalten Ram’s house in Ward No. 16. In Ward No. 18 of Tajpur Municipal Council, PCC road cum RCC drain construction work will be done from the main road via Rajaji’s house till the boundary of Ward No. 12, the cost of which has been kept at ₹ 20,61,941. With the completion of these schemes, transportation in the respective wards will be easier and people are expected to get great relief from the problem of water logging.

Municipal Council Tajpur, Samastipur has issued short-term re-tender invitation notice number – 02/2025-26. All tenders have been invited through e-tendering process, so that transparency and competition can be ensured. Interested contractors can download the tender documents by visiting the e-Procurement portal of Bihar Government from 29 December 2025. The last date for uploading the tender has been fixed as 17 January 2026 till 3 pm. For the convenience of contractors, a pre-bid meeting will be organized at the Municipal Council Tajpur office on 26 December 2025 at 11 am, in which doubts related to the works will be resolved. Technical and financial bids will be opened on 17 January 2026 after 3:30 pm. To participate in the tender, earnest money will be accepted only in the form of bank guarantee and it will be mandatory to submit all the necessary affidavits and documents in original.
