Everyone is aware of the hard work and talent of Satyam Kumar, who came from a small village in Bihar and reached the global technical world. At the age of just 12, he had achieved the distinction of becoming the youngest IITian in the country by passing the difficult examination like IIT-JEE. His achievement is a matter of pride not only for Bihar but for the entire country.
Satyam Kumar was born on 20 July 1999 in a farmer family in Bakhorapur village of Bhojpur district of Bihar. Despite limited resources and village environment, from childhood he showed extraordinary interest in studies and deep understanding of mathematics and science. He had big dreams while studying in an ordinary village school.
In 2011, when he was just 12 years old, Satyam appeared for the IIT-JEE exam for the first time and surprised everyone by securing All India Rank 8137. Passing this exam at such a young age was a record in itself. This unique record gave him recognition across the country.

Instead of being satisfied with his achievement, Satyam once again challenged himself. In 2013, at the age of 13, he appeared for the IIT-JEE exam again and scored 292 out of 360 in JEE Main. In June 2013, he again surprised everyone by scoring AIR 679 in JEE Advanced.
At the age of just 14, he got admission in the prestigious IIT Kanpur. Earned dual degree of B.Tech-M.Tech in Electrical Engineering. From 2013 to 2018, he worked on many projects in IIT Kanpur and won awards.
After completing his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur, Satyam moved to America for higher education. He did his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas. He completed his PhD at the age of just 24. Acquiring a PhD at such a young age is considered a big achievement in itself.
In the year 2023, Satyam has also done an internship in Apple’s Siri Speech Team. Today Satyam Kumar is working in a leading tech company of America and is working in the field of advanced machine learning research. His name is being taken among the rapidly emerging talented researchers in the tech industry. They are bringing glory to India and Bihar at the global level.
Not only Satyam but his younger brother Shivam is also equally talented. He also qualified JEE Mains exam at the age of 15 and took admission in IIT Kanpur. Completed my degree and currently working in Samsung.
