In Gurugram, Haryana, a cab driver misbehaved with a female passenger, after the video went viral, Gurugram Police arrested the accused from Sector-50 and seized the car. The accused is a resident of Rohtak and this incident came to light on December 15, after which the police arrested the accused.

According to the information, the incident happened on 15th December only. The woman alleged that the cab driver had misbehaved with her and then dropped her midway.
Gurugram Police said that Police Station Sector-50 had registered a case under 359 sections 77 and 79 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) on the complaint of the woman. The girl told that on December 15, she boarded a cab to go home from her office at around 6:00 pm. During the journey, the cab driver misbehaved with her, used indecent and insulting language and was forcibly asked to get down from the vehicle. Frightened by the aggressive behavior of the driver, he called 112/100 and sought police assistance.
Now the accused cab driver has been arrested from Sector-50, Gurugram. The accused has been identified as Pankaj (22), resident of Beheni Maharajpur, District Rohtak. During police interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that there was an altercation with the girl over talking on the phone and reducing the volume of the song. On this the accused threatened the female passenger and then made her drop him. Gurugram Police said that the vehicle has also been taken into custody.
