There are about 10 to 12 small food shops in Mankot village, whose livelihood completely depends on Bhatt’s dip. These shops are run together by local families. The special thing is that the food here is not served on the lines of any big hotel or restaurant, but in a home-like atmosphere, due to which people come back here again and again.

The method of making Bhatt Dip is completely traditional. First black Bhatt is soaked and ground, then it is cooked on low flame with spices.
