A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the doctor is punching and kicking the doctor lying on the bed. However, the doctor was kicked on behalf of the patient. During this time, some people are also seen trying to intervene. On the other hand, the matter has also reached the Health Minister.

The family members accompanying the patient created a ruckus in the hospital and made serious allegations against the doctor. It is being told that a patient teaching in a private academy, resident of Kupvi, Shimla, was assaulted. He had come to IGMC to get endoscopy done. The family members have raised slogans against the accused doctor and the management.

It is being told that when the patient had come for endoscopy, the doctor had asked him to rest on the bed for some time. During this time, when he was sleeping on an empty bed, a doctor wearing a mask came and started misbehaving. On this, the patient’s family members said that the doctor has asked him to rest here. However, the accused lost his temper and started misbehaving and assaulting her. However, the patient from the other side had kicked in defence.

The doctor attacked the patient’s face badly, due to which blood came out from his face. The identity of the young doctor has not been established yet. However, when the family members created a ruckus in the hospital after the incident, the police also reached the spot and took the victims with them to the police station. At present, the matter is being investigated.

In the case of assault on a patient in IGMC, now Health Minister Colonel Dhani Ram Shandil has summoned the MS and Principal of IGMC and called both of them to his office in the Secretariat. On the other hand, while sharing the video, former CM Jairam Thakur also wrote that this incident that happened in IGMC Shimla is very unfortunate. This should not have happened. There should be an impartial investigation into this matter. The government and hospital administration should ensure that such incidents do not happen in future.
