Dhanbad Accident News: A horrific road accident occurred in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. A young man driving under the influence of alcohol hit three cars. Two youths were also hit. About six people were injured in the incident.
Dhanbad: A road accident occurred in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Late Sunday night, a speeding car that was racing under the influence of alcohol caused havoc in Barwadda police station area. In this accident that happened on Bhelatand eight lane road, three four wheelers and two youths standing on the roadside got injured. After the incident, there was chaos in the area and more than half a dozen people were injured, out of which the condition of a young man is said to be critical.
The accident happened on the service road leading from Memco turn towards Gol Building. According to eyewitnesses, the car of Hyundai company (number JH10R 9354) was running at high speed while racing. Meanwhile, the car hit another car (JH10AB 8756) running behind it. The collision was so severe that the car overturned on the road. It was fortunate that the entire family in the car narrowly escaped.

38-year-old Vikas Kumar, resident of New Karmik Nagar, his wife 35-year-old Priya Kumari, 12-year-old daughter Yashi Sharma and three-year-old Deeksha Sharma were traveling in the overturned car. It was told that the family was returning from the annual program organized at Sri Chaitanya Techno School. Everyone is shocked after the accident, but no one got seriously injured. Meanwhile, the Hyundai car went out of control and started moving forward, hitting another car (JH10BL 6969) parked on the roadside and other vehicles and bikes. In this sequence, young man Nikhil Modi standing on the roadside was hit by a car and seriously injured.
Treatment of the injured continues
With the help of local people, the injured were first taken to Asian Jalan Hospital, from where when their condition became critical, they were referred to Asrafi Hospital and then to Durgapur. After the incident, angry local people also created ruckus on the road. As soon as the information was received, Barwadda police station reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Police have seized all three cars that crashed. During the investigation, liquor has also been recovered from the Hyundai car that collided, making it clear that the driver was drunk. Police say that the entire matter is being investigated and strict legal action will be taken against the guilty driver.
