UP Assembly Session: While answering the question of Samajwadi Party MLA Samarpal Singh during the question hour on the second day of the winter session of UP Assembly, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that he is not worried about the poor. They are shouting because of their hunger for power.
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that there is no problem in any hospital. Medicines are available at every centre. 18 types of medicines, many types of tests are available. He said that UP is number one in the country in treatment with Ayushman. There is a provision for ICU in the district hospitals. On SP’s questions on health sector, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that there is no shortage of medicines in any government hospital. Testing is also free in government hospitals of the Medical Health Department. He said that SP people have nothing to do with the poor. They are shouting because of their hunger for power. If media people were not sitting then they would not speak at all. Under the SP government, schools and hospitals were turned into stables.
Demand for equal pay for equal work
Along with this, the demand for equal pay for equal work and facilities to doctors was raised. SP MLA from Mainpuri said that the condition of hospitals here is bad. Where even animals do not live, doctors are living there. Their houses have neither been painted nor repaired. SP raised the issue of NOCH in the Assembly. The issue of equal pay for equal work was also raised. Demanded to remove salary discrepancies. In response to this, Minister Dayashankar Dayalu said that there is a separate ministry of AYUSH in UP since 2017. Today 3985 AYUSH hospitals are operating.
