During the winter season, people often have to face problems like chills and pain in bones due to extreme cold. At the same time, people want to eat such things during the cold season, which can give them strength as well as some warmth and plenty of energy. In such a situation, laddus with flaxseed jaggery are considered an excellent desi superfood. These laddus are rich in Omega-3 and are also considered beneficial for digestion. According to Ayurvedacharya, these are very beneficial for strengthening bones and joints. You can make these easily at home without any hassle. Let us know the recipe and ingredients to make them.
Ingredients required: Flax seeds 1 cup, wheat flour, ½ cup, grated jaggery, ¾ cup (as per taste), desi ghee 4–5 tbsp, chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, walnuts), ¼ cup, dry coconut (grated), 2 tbsp and cardamom powder, ½ tsp. Now let us know the method of making flaxseed laddus.
Roast flaxseeds: Dry roast flaxseeds on low flame. Keep frying it until it starts crackling slightly. After this, after it cools down, grind the flaxseed coarsely and prepare a thick flour.

Fry the flour and add dry fruits: Heat 2 spoons of ghee in a pan and then add wheat flour and fry till it becomes golden and aromatic. After this, add chopped dry fruits and dry coconut and fry lightly for 2 minutes.
Add jaggery and flaxseed: After this turn off the gas. Add grated jaggery, ground flaxseed and cardamom powder to the mixture. The jaggery will melt automatically with the hot mixture. After this your mixture will be ready and you can start the further process.
Make laddus: While the mixture is still lukewarm, apply some ghee on your hands and make round laddus. Then store the laddus in an airtight container. It will remain safe for 2–3 weeks. For more heat, dry ginger (dry ginger) powder can be added to the laddu. Eating these laddus with hot milk in the morning will double their effect along with the desi taste.
