Excessive fog in winter can damage rose plants, especially the buds and new leaves. In such a situation, the plant can be covered with light cotton cloth, jute sack or garden net at night. Keep in mind that the cloth should not be too heavy and do not cover the plant completely. Remove the cover as soon as the sun rises in the morning, so that moisture does not accumulate and the plant remains safe.
