Paschim Champaran: Electricity supply will be disrupted in Bettiah and surrounding areas of West Champaran tomorrow i.e. Sunday 20th December from 10 am to 1 pm. Complete your important work before this time.
West Champaran. Electricity supply will be disrupted for about three hours in Bettiah and surrounding rural areas on Sunday. Actually, winter maintenance work of 33 KV half main busbar is going on in 132/33 KV grid sub-centre located at Bari Tola, due to which power supply may be disrupted. The department has appealed for cooperation from the affected people during this period and has also advised them to complete all the important work before the scheduled time.
Equipment inspection and repair work
According to the information received from Grid Substation SDO Ankit Kumar, under this maintenance work, equipment will be checked, repaired and other necessary improvements will be made. Its objective is to ensure uninterrupted and secure power supply in future. During this period the power supply to the respective feeders will remain completely closed.
Electricity will be disrupted from 10 am to 1 pm
According to the official, on Sunday, from 10 am to 1 pm, power supply will remain disrupted in the areas connected to 33 KV feeder Mansha Tola, Naurangbagh, Bairia and Nautan. According to the department, efforts will be made to complete the maintenance work on time as per the weather and technical conditions, so that consumers face minimum hassle.
Complete important work before scheduled time
In view of the problems faced by the consumers, SDO Ankit Kumar has appealed to the consumers to complete all their important work before the stipulated time. Especially complete the important tasks like filling water in the tank, charging the inverter and filling the water purifier.
It is better for everyone to remain patient during the power cut period. It is a matter of relief that the officer has assured that after the completion of the maintenance work, the power supply will become better and more stable than before. This work will be done as soon as possible, for which the supply has to be stopped for three hours.
