Lucknow Latest News: A shocking case has come to light from KGMU Hospital in Lucknow. A female resident doctor has accused her fellow male resident doctor of cheating and pressurizing her. According to the woman, due to this stress her health deteriorated and she had to be admitted to the hospital. Taking immediate cognizance, the administration has issued notices to both the parties and called them for questioning. Now an impartial investigation of the entire matter is going on.
Lucknow: A serious case has come to light from King George Medical University (KGMU) located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Here a female resident doctor has accused a male resident doctor of her own department of cheating and pressurizing her to convert. The female doctor is said to be a resident of West Bengal, while the male doctor is a resident of Uttarakhand.
According to the female doctor, there was first friendship between the two, which later turned into a relationship. It is alleged that during this time the male doctor started pressurizing her to change her religion. Due to this mental stress, the health of the female doctor deteriorated and she had to be admitted to KGMU for treatment. At present his condition is improving and he has been discharged from the hospital.
The female doctor has also alleged that the male doctor concerned gave wrong information about his marital status. It is reported that he was already married, but he declared himself unmarried. According to the information, he has already been married to a Hindu woman. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the KGMU administration has taken immediate cognizance.
The hospital administration has issued a notice to the male resident doctor and summoned him for questioning at 1 pm on Monday. Besides, the female doctor and her family members have also been called to record their statements. KGMU administration says that the entire matter will be investigated impartially and if the allegations are found true then strict action will be taken against the concerned doctor. At present the investigation process is going on.
