New Delhi. The silence of midnight, a poisonous time creeping inside the house and a father sleeping unaware on the bed. At first glance it appeared to be a cruel blow of nature, but in reality it was a bloody game perpetrated by the sons of Kaliyugi. The world considered the death of 56-year-old EP Ganesan to be a snake bite, but when the police investigation removed the curtains, such a tale of greed and brutality emerged that shocked everyone. These sons had priced their own father’s life at Rs 3 crore. This was not a simple murder but a well thought out cold blooded murder conspiracy, in which nature’s most poisonous predator i.e. snake was made the weapon of murder. This conspiracy hatched in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu to grab the insurance money is as scary as it looks like a film. When protectors become predators and blood relations become bloodthirsty, then humanity becomes ashamed.
A suspicion of the insurance company revealed the secret
When Ganesan died on that dark night of October, his son Mohanraj called it an accident. The police also registered a case of accidental death, but the story took a turn when an insurance company found something suspicious during the claim process. The company noticed that several large life insurance policies had been taken in the name of Ganesan. The greed of getting money worth crores of rupees alerted the company. IG Asra Garg (IPS) was informed about this. When the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the police investigated in depth, the truth started coming out layer by layer.
first attempt failed
Investigation revealed that the sons had made the first attempt to kill their father a week ago. With the help of some people, he had ordered a poisonous cobra. The cobra bit Ganesan on his leg but luckily his life was saved. After the failure, the sons’ resolve became even more determined. This time he arranged for an even more dangerous Krait snake. Early in the morning, when the father was in deep sleep, the snake bit his neck. The effect of poison on the neck was so severe that Ganesan did not even get a chance to recover. To destroy the evidence, they also killed the snake inside the house.
6 accused arrested
SP Vivekananda Shukla has confirmed that the only motive behind the murder was the insurance amount of Rs 3 crore. Police have arrested a total of 6 people including Ganesan’s two sons and 4 associates who arranged for the snake. The accused had also deliberately delayed taking him to the hospital so that the poison could do its work completely. This tale of espionage and greed is now in the clutches of the law. The police are now searching for the suppliers who used to provide such deadly snakes illegally.
