On Friday, cold day conditions persisted in all the rural and urban areas of West Champaran district. The maximum temperature in the district was recorded at 15.4 and the minimum was 13 degrees. Due to dense fog and cloud cover, there was no sunshine throughout the day. The effect of cold winds blowing from the Himalayas was such that people stayed in their homes. Forced to hide. School timings changed due to cold day
District Magistrate Taranjot Singh, while issuing an important order under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023, has completely banned the educational activities of all classes in all government and private schools of West Champaran district before 09:00 am and after 04:30 pm. Red alert in these districts including West Champaran
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, on Saturday the day will start with very dense fog in districts like West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi and Shivhar.
