New Delhi. President Draupadi Murmu on Sunday gave his approval to the ‘Developed India – Ji Ram Ji’ bill. The Ministry of Rural Development gave this information. Amid opposition, Parliament had passed the VB-G Ram Ji Bill, 2025. It aims to replace the existing rural employment law ‘MNREGA’ and ensure 125 days of employment per financial year to every rural household. According to the government, the aim of this new scheme is to establish a rural development framework in line with the national vision of ‘Developed India-2047’.
