Along with this, the westerly wind speed remains at 20 to 30 kilometers per hour, which may continue like this for the next few days. Due to the cold wind the chill has increased and people are forced to resort to bonfires.

Agricultural meteorologist Rajneesh Prasad Rajesh said that common people need to take special precautions in this season. He said that people should cover their entire body with warm clothes and avoid cold wind in the morning and evening. Farmers have been advised. They maintain moisture in their fields. At the same time, animal farmers have been advised to cover their animals with jute sacks or warm clothes, spread straw in the cattle shed and protect them from cold wind.
