Muzaffarpur. Important changes have been made in the degree and examination system of Muzaffarpur-based Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU). Till now, the names of the students were mentioned on the degrees in both Hindi and English languages.
It was also decided in the meeting that the degrees for the graduation session 2021-24 will be printed soon and sent to the respective colleges. DSW Prof. in the examination board meeting. In another important change in the examination system, it was decided that now not only the paper numbers but also the names of the papers will be written on the mark sheets of graduation and PG. Along with CGPA, the formula to convert marks into percentage will also be given on the mark sheet, so that students do not face any problem while taking admission in other universities or institutes.
Signature of Deputy Controller will be valid
To make the process of issuing degree fast and transparent, now the degree will also have a digital signature of the controller of examinations. Earlier, only the digital signature of the Vice Chancellor was on the degree. Apart from this, the manual signature of the Assistant Registrar will also be on the degree. If the Assistant Registrar is not available then the Deputy Controller will be able to sign. Till now all the degrees were signed manually by the controller of examinations, which caused delay in the process.
There will be special examination for promoted or pending candidates
A major decision was also taken in the meeting regarding the pending results. A special examination will be conducted for students whose results of graduation session 2022-25 are promoted or pending. Apart from this, there will also be a special examination for some students of Part One and Part Two. The university will prepare the details of how many students have missed the examination of which session. Besides, it was also decided to search the tabulation register for those students whose answer sheets or results are not available.
Apart from this, there was also discussion regarding internship in the fourth semester of graduation. It was decided that a committee would be formed under the chairmanship of DSW. There is a possibility that internship will be started from February, which will be of four credits. This will help the students in getting practical experience and also in preparing for employment.
