During the inspection, he took a detailed look at the health services being provided to the patients in the hospital, precautions being taken regarding cold, cleanliness, medicine availability and overall medical arrangements.
The district officer especially inspected the child ward and the maternity department. Where they have recorded the number of normal and caesarean deliveries so far, condition of newborn babies, health check-up, vaccination, nutrition and what is being provided to the mothers. Got detailed information about the facilities. He also gave instructions to ensure this. All health services prescribed by the government should be provided to pregnant women on time and in a quality manner.
Inspected child ward and maternity department
During the inspection, the District Officer instructed the doctors and health workers to ensure sensitive and respectful behavior with the patients, maintain cleanliness in the hospital premises and ensure regular availability of essential medicines. He also warned of strict action against any kind of negligence. During the inspection, when the shortage of doctors in the hospital came to light, the District Officer instructed the Civil Surgeon to requisition the department for the supply of doctors. So that uninterrupted and quality health services can be ensured to the patients. The District Officer said that maternal and child health is among the top priorities of the government. Any kind of deficiency will not be tolerated in this area. Concerned officials and hospital personnel were present during the inspection.
