Methi ki Barfi Recipe & Benefits in Winter: Fenugreek barfi is a great option to keep the body warm and healthy in winter. Made of fenugreek, jaggery, and dry fruits, this barfi provides relief from joint pain and provides internal warmth to the body. This can easily be made at home.
To make fenugreek barfi, firstly grind fenugreek finely and put fenugreek powder in milk for about 4 hours. Then turn on the gas, place a clean vessel on it and add three spoons of ghee in that vessel. After the ghee is heated, add fenugreek powder into it. Fry it well on low flame until it dries completely and changes color.
After 20 minutes, the fenugreek powder dries completely and also changes its color. Now take out fenugreek powder in a vessel. After this, put dry coconut in a vessel and fry it for about 5 minutes. Grind this roasted coconut coarsely.
Now heat almonds, cashews, poppy seeds and pistachios in a vessel and grind them coarsely. Mix coconut powder and dry fruits powder together well. Now put two spoons of ghee in a vessel and add a little gum in that ghee and fry it on low flame till it swells completely. Now grind this gum well. Now take another vessel and heat two spoons of ghee in that vessel, add ground urad dal flour in it and fry it till it turns golden.

Take out the urad flour in another vessel and then add two spoons of ghee in the pan and fry the gram flour properly. Add flour to the same pan and fry it properly. Now add poppy seeds in a vessel and mix all these things and the mixture of fenugreek barfi will be ready. Now heat ghee in a vessel, add jaggery in it and melt it completely on low flame. Now add dry ginger powder and cardamom powder to it and mix it well.
Now spread the mixture prepared for making fenugreek barfi in a clean vessel and cut it into barfi shapes. Fenugreek barfi will now become edible which will be beneficial for taste as well as health.
