First of all, keep the rice wet for some time and then let it dry for some time. Then grind that rice well in a mixer. Just like wheat flour. If finely ground, it will make good cheela.
First of all, wash the beans thoroughly and remove their fibers. After this, let it boil in a vessel or cooker along with some tomatoes. Once boiled, after cooling down, cut the beans into very fine pieces, so that they melt properly while cooking the cheela.
Now take a vessel and add rice flour, curd, finely chopped beans, green chillies, grated ginger, cumin, salt and chopped coriander leaves. Mix all these things well. Now add water little by little to the mixture and prepare a medium thick batter. Keep in mind that the batter should neither be too thin nor too thick, only then the cheela will be cooked properly.
Now heat the pan and apply some oil or ghee on it. Pour a ladle of batter in the center of the pan and spread it slowly in a round shape. Cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes, then turn and cook from the other side till it becomes golden.
When the cheela becomes crisp and golden brown from both sides, remove it from the pan. Serve hot rice cheela with tomato chutney or pickle and enjoy health along with taste in the cold season.
