Gold-Silver Weekly Update: This week (16 to 20 December) the prices of both gold and silver continued to fluctuate. Data from India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) shows that gold fell this week, while silver prices saw a rise. In five days of trading, gold became cheaper by Rs 1,470 per 10 grams. At the same time, silver became costlier by Rs 6,650 per kg throughout the week. While gold with 999 purity was Rs 1,33,249 per 10 grams on December 16, it fell to Rs 1,31,779 per 10 grams by December 20. Talking about silver, it showed strength after sharp fluctuations. Starting from Rs 1,93,417 per kg on December 16, its price reached Rs 2,00,067 per kg on December 20, i.e. silver became costlier by Rs 6,650 in a week.
