According to the latest report of the Meteorological Department, dense fog may persist in the northern parts of the state for the next two days, while its partial effect will be seen in other divisions also. Meanwhile, there are signs of significant change regarding temperature also. While there is a possibility of a gradual increase in the minimum temperature in North Chhattisgarh, the effect of cold will remain in Central and South Chhattisgarh for the time being. Meteorologists say that at present there is no active weather system in the state, due to which the weather is likely to remain dry in the coming days.
The effect of cold weather continues in Chhattisgarh. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog in many parts of the state in the coming days. There will also be a gradual change in temperature. There are signs of increase in minimum temperatures especially in North Chhattisgarh.
There is a possibility of dense fog at some places in the districts of Surguja division for the next two days. Along with this, the effect of dense fog can be seen at one or two places in the districts of Bilaspur division, due to which there is a possibility of low visibility in the morning.
There will be a change in temperature
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a gradual increase of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in the districts of North Chhattisgarh in the next three days. There will be no significant change in the temperature in Central and South Chhattisgarh for the next two days, but after this, there is a possibility of an increase of 1 to 2 degrees Celsius in the next three days.
Lowest temperature in Ambikapur
The highest maximum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jagdalpur in the state, while the lowest minimum temperature of 5.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Ambikapur. During this period, no rainfall has been recorded anywhere in the state and no active cyano system is effective.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry across the state today. However, a warning has been issued regarding dense fog at one or two places in North Chhattisgarh. It is predicted that the weather will remain dry in the state even after the next two days.
There is a possibility of fog in the capital Raipur on 21st December. The maximum temperature here is expected to be around 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 13 degrees Celsius.
