Very soon it will be opened to the common people. With the commencement of this road, not only will the traffic become easier, but the economic and social development of the district will also get a new impetus.
The construction work of Hansdiha-Mahagama four lane road was started in May 2023. According to the stipulated time frame, this road was to be completed in two years, i.e. by May 2025. However, due to problems related to land acquisition during construction, the work was delayed by about six months. After this, the work agency accelerated the construction work. Now by the last days of December, the road work is almost complete.
200 meters of work left
At present, about 200 meters of work is left at only two places on this four-lane road. Work on these parts is also being done at a rapid pace by the construction company. It is estimated that the remaining work will also be completed within the coming 10 days. After this, this four lane road will be completely dedicated to the people of Godda district in the new year. With the construction of this road, there will be a big improvement in the connectivity of Godda district. Now the distance from the district headquarters to Hansdiha can be covered in just 20 to 30 minutes at normal speed, whereas earlier it used to take 1 to 1.5 hours to cover the same distance. This will provide great relief to daily commuters, businessmen, students and patients.

Local people say that the construction of a four-lane road will also create new opportunities for business and employment in the area. Also, with the increase in external investment and traffic, Godda district will be identified as an area with a better road network.
