Bilaspur News: Every morning there is a crowd of people at a small shop near Konher Garden in Bilaspur. Here the aroma of Aloo Paratha, Veg Pulao and taste of Kadhi-rice automatically attracts people. The owner of this shop is Rajkumari Mehta, who started this shop with just ₹ 5000. Today she is earning Rs 1000-1200 daily. Not only this, she has also become an inspiring example of self-reliance and hard work in the area.

Rajkumari Mehta has been running a paratha shop near Konher Garden for many years. From 7 am to 4 pm, she continuously cooks food for the customers. Aloo Paratha, Veg Pulao and Kadhi-Rice have become the identity of his stall. Because of the taste and cleanliness, a large crowd of people gather here every day.
Left the job and chose my own path
Rajkumari says that earlier she used to work in a bank and give tuition to children, but during the Covid pandemic, all these works stopped. In that difficult time, instead of accepting defeat, he decided to start his own business. He says, “Working for someone else requires commuting from time to time and working according to the boss, but we do our work as per our own.”
The journey started from ₹5000
Initially he started this small business by investing about ₹ 5000. Gradually the confidence of the customers increased and the shop started functioning. Today, with this work, she has built a house, bought a car and is also providing good education to her children. Rajkumari says that even small work done with hard work and patience can take a big form.
Teaching others also
Rajkumari Mehta has not only become self-reliant but is also inspiring others. He says that if anyone wants to start this work, he is ready to teach him. For this you will have to take a cart on rent. You will have to purchase materials worth around ₹ 5000 and will have to sit patiently for a few days. When customers start forming and they like the taste, the shop will start running.
