Due to prolonged moisture between the fingers, many people start having the problem of itching. Today we are going to tell you an easy home remedy to get rid of it. In which the remedy of neem leaves and turmeric is used. Its effect also starts appearing immediately.
Purnia: Often, due to excessive exposure to water or wearing shoes and socks for a long time, many people get infection between the toes, which is colloquially called ‘Pakuwa’ or ‘Pakohi’ and in medical science, it is called ‘Athlete’s Foot’ or fungal infection. This problem not only causes unbearable itching, but the burning sensation and discomfort caused by it can bother the person for hours. Many times people use various types of English medicines or creams, which provide immediate relief. But after a few days this problem re-emerges.
According to Dr. Nandkumar Mandal, an Ayurveda expert from Purnia, the biggest reason for getting Pakohi is moisture or water getting trapped between the toes for a long time. Apart from this, constant wearing of shoes and socks, lack of drainage of sweat and walking barefoot on wet soil or sand are the main factors of this fungal infection. Especially during the winter season and after the rains, when there is moisture in the feet, this fungus grows rapidly.
Take these precautions, you will not be fooled
To prevent this problem, the most important thing is to always keep the feet dry. Dr. Mandal advises that whenever you wash your feet, wipe the space between the toes thoroughly with the help of a clean and dry cloth, so that there is no trace of moisture there. Along with this, avoid walking barefoot on sand or soil and do not use the same socks for a long time.
Note the easy home remedies
If you have suffered from puffiness, it can be completely cured at home with indigenous and Ayurvedic methods. For this, first of all boil neem leaves thoroughly in water and clean the affected area with that lukewarm water. Anti-fungal properties of Neem help prevent infections. After cleaning, dry the feet and then prepare a thick paste by mixing pure turmeric in coconut oil. Apply this paste between the fingers and tie it with a clean cloth for two-four hours.
The infection will be eradicated from the roots
Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and coconut oil eliminates fungus while providing moisture to the skin. By doing this process continuously two-three times a day, the boil on the feet gradually goes away completely. Apart from this, the use of ‘Tankan’ bhasma or powder in Ayurveda is also considered a panacea for this problem. By sprinkling tankan powder on the affected area, moisture is absorbed and the infection is eliminated from the roots. By adopting these simple home remedies and a little caution, you can free your feet from this painful fungal infection forever without any expensive medicine.
