He further told that the biggest specialty of Chuda ki Lai sweets is that it does not require many ingredients to make it. This is a traditional sweet made with less ingredients, which is easily prepared in every home. To make this, first of all the Chuda is roasted well in a pan on low flame, so that the Chuda becomes crisp. In this, care is taken that the bangles do not burn, otherwise the taste of the sweet may get spoiled.
Ginger-sesame flavoring
After this, some water is poured into the same pan and jaggery nuggets are added to it and cooked. The jaggery is cooked with continuous stirring until a good syrup is prepared. As soon as the syrup is prepared, lightly grated ginger is added to it, which gives a slightly spicy aroma and taste to the sweet. Along with this, pre-roasted sesame seeds are also mixed in jaggery syrup, which makes this sweet more nutritious.

When jaggery, ginger and sesame seeds mix well, then roasted chuda is added to it. After this the entire mixture is mixed well, so that the syrup gets completely absorbed into the Chuda. When this mixture cools down, small laddus are made. Within some time, the delicious and traditional Chuda Lai sweet is ready.
