To prepare this nutritious recipe, mainly 250 grams of flaxseed and 250 grams of wheat flour is used. Along with this, 100 grams of edible gum, 300 grams of pure desi ghee and about 400 grams of jaggery are taken. To increase taste and nutrition, makhana, almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, dry ginger powder and cardamom powder are added to it. The use of jaggery makes it sugar free and more healthy.

To make laddus, first of all flaxseeds are roasted on low flame without ghee and ground coarsely. After this, the gum is fried in desi ghee and puffed and the makhanas and dry fruits are roasted till they turn golden. Then wheat flour is roasted in ghee until a nice aroma comes out. Roasted flour, flaxseed, crushed gum and dry fruits are mixed in a big vessel. Finally, melted jaggery is added to this mixture and round laddus are tied while it is still warm.

If these laddus are kept in an airtight container after they cool completely, they remain safe for 1 to 2 months. Taking one laddu with lukewarm milk every morning or night keeps the body strong and removes chronic fatigue.
