Varanasi: Third degree torture of cold continues in Uttar Pradesh. The havoc of falling temperature and fog will be seen in different cities of the state on 20th December also. Even today, from Noida to Lucknow and from Varanasi to Agra, there will be a white blanket of dense fog everywhere in the morning. This trend will continue for the next 1 to 2 days. Indian Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has estimated this. On the other hand, with the increase in cold, normal life is also completely affected. Because the cold has now started making the bones shiver.
On Saturday (December 20), Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabirnagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Sitapur, Hardoi, In Unnao, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly and Rampur, dense fog will be visible not only in the morning but also during the day. Orange alert has been issued regarding this.

Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued today regarding fog in Meerut, Mathura, Sambhal, Hathras, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Bulandshahr, Kannauj, Kanpur, Etawah, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli. The weather is likely to clear here as the day progresses. However, the cold is troubling people here too.
There will be dense fog in the capital Lucknow today. The Meteorological Department issued an orange alert regarding this. However, light sunlight can also be seen in the afternoon. If we talk about Noida adjacent to Delhi, today there too the day will start with fog. The weather has been predicted to remain similar in Ghaziabad also. Today the maximum temperature in these cities is expected to be 11 and minimum 20 degrees Celsius. Let us tell you that in the last 3 days there has been a decrease of up to 8 degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature.
Decrease will occur again after 2 days
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that at present, there may be a slight rise in the maximum temperature in UP for the next 1 to 2 days, but after that, a decrease in temperature will be seen here again.
Let us tell you that in the last 24 hours, there was fog with zero visibility in many cities of the state. These include many districts including Agra, Bareilly, Rampur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Basti. Apart from this, the lowest minimum temperature of 7.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bulandshahr in the last 24 hours.
