Only a few things are required to make millet itali at home. For this you have to take millet, buttermilk, eno, black pepper powder and salt as per taste. After this the mentioned method has to be followed.
How to make millet idli
– To make nutrition-rich millet khichdi, first take millet and clean it thoroughly. After this, put the millet in a vessel. Pour 1-2 cups of buttermilk over it and leave it to soak for at least 2 hours.
– After the stipulated time, add black pepper and salt as per taste and mix everything well. Now add a little Eno to this solution and beat it well. After this we will take a pot to make idli. Apply some oil on it and grease it well. By doing this the paste will not stick to the pot.
– Now pour the prepared millet solution into the pot and fill it with the help of a bowl. After this, close the pot and keep it on the gas and cook the idli for 10-12 minutes. After the stipulated time, open the pot and check whether the idli is cooked or not.
Similarly, prepare whole idli. When the idli is ready, turn off the gas and remove the idli from the pot and cool it. In this way, nutritious millet idli is ready. Now you can serve it with chutney.
