Shahjahanpur: In Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, the police has arrested a cyber gang, which was cheating crores of rupees in the name of investing money in the share market by running a call center in a rural area. Expensive laptop, Mahindra Thar vehicle, four bikes and equipment worth about Rs 1 crore have been recovered from the arrested cyber gang. Apart from this, police have also found records of transactions worth crores of rupees. At present the police is busy in locating the cyber related network.

The police caught a call center near a village in Khandhar Road of Jalalabad police station, from where the police arrested 6 cyber thugs. 69 expensive laptops, several mobile phones, new SIM cards, a Mahindra Thar vehicle, four motorcycles and bar codes of several banks were recovered from them.

During interrogation, it was found that these people used to cheat people in the name of investing money in the share market and used to deceive them of doubling their money. Apart from this, he also used to make money by opening fake companies in the share market. At present, the police have unearthed many big names during the investigation. Among the six vicious cyber thugs arrested by the police, Twinkle Gupta, Prajnal Saxena, Nihal Saxena, Dipanshu Siddhant and Rohit Rathore have been arrested. All of them are residents of Jalalabad police station area of Shahjahanpur district.
