Koderma News: Room heaters have been arranged in various wards of Koderma Sadar Hospital. Due to which the admitted patients are getting relief from cold. Even in government hospitals, priority is being given to the convenience and health safety of patients.
In the last days of the year, the temperature is continuously falling. Anyway, the effect of cold is also increasing in the district. Normal life is being affected due to cold winds in the morning and evening. The severity of cold increases as the sun sets. Due to which people are forced to resort to warm clothes, bonfire and room heater. This changing weather is affecting people with weak immune systems the most. Which includes small children, elderly and patients suffering from various serious diseases.

In this cold season, keeping the patients admitted in hospitals safe from cold has become a big challenge for the health department. Especially at night, additional arrangements become necessary to protect the patients admitted in the ward from cold. It was seen for a long time that in private hospitals, facilities like room heaters are provided to the patients to provide relief from cold. Whereas such facilities are lacking in government hospitals. However, a commendable initiative has been taken in this direction in Koderma Sadar Hospital. On the lines of private hospitals, arrangements for room heaters have been made in various wards of Sadar Hospital. Due to which the admitted patients are getting relief from cold. This initiative is clearly indicating that even in government hospitals, now priority is being given to the convenience and health safety of patients.
Temperature likely to drop in coming days
In this regard, Deputy Superintendent of Sadar Hospital, Dr. Ranjit Kumar said that the effect of cold is continuously increasing in the district and the temperature is likely to fall further in the coming days. In such a situation, this decision has been taken by the hospital administration keeping in mind the health of the patients. Continuous efforts are being made to further strengthen the health services in Sadar Hospital and to provide better facilities to the patients. The arrangement of room heater is also an important step taken in this direction.
Patients are feeling relief from room heater
The patients and their families who came to the hospital for treatment have expressed satisfaction about this facility. Patients say that in the harsh winter, they are feeling a lot of relief due to the facility of heater inside the ward and now they do not have to struggle with the problems caused by cold.
