Food Story: In the 60 year old Mitra Milan restaurant, neither its recipe has changed nor the taste has changed nor the customers have changed. The biggest thing is that the proprietor has not changed, the same family has been running it for three generations.

Because this is the oldest non-veg restaurant in Sagar city which has been operating for the last 60 years, people fond of non-veg still get the same taste from here which they used to get years ago and the biggest thing is that even though the operators of this restaurant have changed, there is not even the slightest change in their behavior. Even today the customers are welcomed with such cordiality by the person who is running their place in a traditional manner.

Many types of dishes available
At this restaurant, apart from Chicken Curry, Chicken Masala, Butter Chicken, Butter Gudu, Mutton Korma, Mutton Curry, Mutton Mura, Egg Curry, Egg Curry Masala, Mughlai Curry, there are many other dishes which are prepared or whatever the customers order, they prepare them within 15 minutes. Here, along with tests, cleanliness and quality are also taken great care of.
Starting after retirement from police
Shoaib Qureshi, director of Mitra Milan Restaurant, tells that his father’s maternal grandfather had laid the foundation of this restaurant, his maternal grandfather Sheikh Shammu Khan used to be in the police in the British Army during the British rule, when his job was completed and he retired, he was very fond of cooking food with his own hands and feeding others, due to this, a few years after his retirement, he established a restaurant which was named Mitra Milan. Here all his friends met. There used to be a haunt also.
Gradually, people became crazy about the dishes made by their hands and this restaurant became famous for its taste. After Nana, our father took over this restaurant. The spices, recipes and secrets told by him were transferred to us by our father. We are carrying forward this legacy on the ideals of Nana and father and even after 60 years, we serve the same taste and recipe to the people, they like it and keep licking their fingers.
