Recently, a video of a wedding of Edo community surfaced on social media, which immediately caught people’s attention. It was seen in the video that during the wedding, the bride first sits on her father-in-law’s lap and then on her groom’s lap. This process is repeated a total of seven times. Without complete information, many people looked at this ritual from a wrong perspective and called it strange or even objectionable.
