Amit Shah Himachal Visit: Country’s Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest at Sapri SSB Training Centre, Kangra on 20th December. Due to security, traffic restrictions will be in force on many routes in the Jwalamukhi area.

Kangra. Country’s Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Himachal. In such a situation, the administration is on full alert mode regarding VIP movement in Jwalamukhi and surrounding areas of Kangra district on Saturday i.e. 20th December. Police has announced closure of many roads here.
In fact. Home Minister Amit Shah will participate as the chief guest in the program organized at the SSB Training Center at Sapri in Kangra district. To maintain the security and smooth traffic system regarding the VIP tour, the administration has imposed temporary traffic restrictions and diversions on many routes. The administration has appealed for cooperation from the general public. Actually, the Foundation Day of Border Armed Forces will be celebrated on 20th December at the Training Centre, Sapdi.
In view of security, there will be complete restriction of vehicular movement on some major routes from 11.15 am till the arrival of the chief guest at the venue, and from 2 pm till the return after the end of the programme. In this, vehicles going from Dehra to Jwalamukhi, Nadaun towards Jwalamukhi, Kangra and Dehra, as well as vehicles going from Jwalamukhi towards Khola, Sapdi, Khundian and Ranital will be stopped at designated places. However, alternative routes will remain open for emergency and medical services. Station in-charge, Jwalamukhi Sandeep Patial said that strict security arrangements have been made for the visit of the Home Minister and traffic restrictions will remain in force on some routes. The general public is requested to use alternative routes and cooperate with the police administration. He told that in case of any emergency, police station Jwalamukhi can be contacted on telephone number 01970-222322.
